Together with costume specialists Movie Mania, we called for passionate and enthusiastic fans of ANIME, MANGA, MOVIES, VIDEO GAMES and COSPLAY to participate in our COSPLAY Competition!
In line with the international flavour of the Convention, the Competition fell under two main themes over the course of two days (i.e. Saturday and Sunday, 15-16 August):
a) MOVIE (Single & Group/Family)
b) ANIME (Single & Group/Family)
Our participants competed alongside fellow pop-culture fans which put them in the running to win special Animax goodie bags and cash prizes which consisted of S$3000 worth of prizes from Official Sponsor KKnM (Kareshi Kanojyo no Mise)!
Held in conjunction with CosCon, cosplay, J-Pop and anime fans also went onstage at STGCC without the added pressure of competition!
The Song & Dance Performances at STGCC allowed fans to register to perform on our event stage. Performers were encouraged to perform skits, sing and dance! We also welcomed them to bring their own music for use.
